Quarterly Workshops for Registrants - 3 October, 23 November, 19-20 March (in person) and 16 May from 11:00am – 1:30pm CET
Real-time Moderator Support – Ideas, Tools, and Conversations

PURPOSE
We are excited to announce a moderator -leadership development program and skills support series. This year-long program support offers continuous learning, coaching and tools, supporting moderators to lead their Forum, learn and grow in real time!

WHAT IS IT?
Forum trainers Julia Langkraehr and Anthony Di Marco will guide you through a full year journey, anchored by four, 2.5-hour interactive, sessions with theory, practical applications, tools, breakout groups, and Q&A session.

The Four 2.5-hour Workshop topics are:

Session 1: Forum By Design
Monday, 3 October (11:00 pm-13:30 pm CET)
Lets walk through the Annual planning cycle, identifying your forum’s opportunity to thrive this year

Office Hour 1:
Tuesday, October 25 (11:00 am - 12:00 pm CET)

Session 2: 5% Reflections & Parking Lot
Wednesday, 23 November (11:00 pm-13:30 pm CET)
Vulnerable, prepared, effective, the pivot point of a forum meeting

Tuesday, 24th January (11:00 am - 12:00 pm CET)

Office Hour 3:
Tuesday, 21 February (11:00 am - 12:00 pm CET)

Office Hour 4:
Tuesday, 18 April (11:00 am - 12:00 pm CET)

Session 3: Moderator Summit- In person! Location TBD
19-20 March in Kenya, Nairobi

Session 4: Moderator Transition

Moderator transition: Connection, reflection and effective handoff as we shift roles each year in forum

MONTHLY OFFICE HOUR SUPPORT

• -One hour calls scheduled during the months without a workshop to give moderators direct support from Forum facilitators, regional Forum leadership and EO Staff (see dates above).
• -Your opportunity to ask your Forum Facilitators anything and to share and connect with moderators throughout the region.

IN-PERSON MODERATOR SUMMIT

On March 19-20, 2023 Europe and MEPA will host an expanded third quarter workshop in-person in Kenya, Nairobi. This will be a facilitated, Forum-focused regional event for moderator leadership development centered on deep exploration of moderator concepts, coaching and conflict resolution.
